Prelim Task

To plan the preliminary film that we had to make, we listed the selection of shots that we knew we would need to include, such as a mid-shot, close up, and wide shot. Then I drew a story board that would help us to plan what we needed to film to get it to flow, however we didn't stick to the storyboard.

The match-on-match action in the prelim was good and it flowed well, which is what we were hoping for.

We faced a few problems when making our preliminary task - the first time we filmed we realised that we broke the 180 degree rule, so we had to re-film some sections again to fix this problem.

There are also sections when the film jumps, and doesn't flow, and to fix this we should have filmed the same action several different time to try and reduce the chance of this from happening. When making the two-minute film opening, I will make sure that we have several shots of the same action so we can reduce the chance that we will have to re-film.
